Ovarian rejuvenation with PRP
Platelet-rich plasma from your own blood, for women with a low ovarian reserve.

One of the most serious problems in treating infertility is a low ovarian reserve, which is closely linked to a woman’s age.
Over the last decade, studies at Harvard University have shown that the ovaries of adult women contain ovarian stem cells which, when stimulated, can develop into mature eggs. They could be an important resource for women who want to extend their fertility.
One way to activate these cells is with growth factors, which are found in cells such as white blood cells and platelets. Growth factors are mainly given as injections of platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is widely used in medicine.
Autologous PRP uses the patient’s own blood. The blood is spun in a centrifuge to remove the red blood cells and separate the white blood cells and platelets. After further processing and centrifuging, the plasma contains five to ten times more growth factors than whole blood.
PRP injections have been used in clinical practice for many years, as a simple and effective technique without side effects. All women with premature ovarian insufficiency can benefit from this method.
