Dr. Vasilis Kapelonis

Vasilis Kapelonis earned a degree in biology in the United States and then trained as a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He went on to specialise in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery in Brussels.

• 1998–2000Completed his specialist training at the 3rd Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
• 1999–2000Further training in transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound at the 3rd Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, AUTH.
• 2001Further training in gynaecological endoscopic surgery at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, under the supervision of Professor Koninckx.
• 2001–2020Scientific associate at the 3rd Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, AUTH, in charge of the infertility and obstetrics and gynaecology outpatient clinics.
