LH

LH (luteinising hormone)
LH is produced and secreted by the pituitary gland. Together with FSH, LH stimulates the maturation of the eggs from primary to tertiary follicles and supports the production of oestrogens.
LH triggers ovulation and, in the second half of the cycle, supports the production of progesterone.
